Larry Lelli stands as one of NYC's premier freelance drummers, boasting a seasoned career as both a Broadway drummer and conductor with over 40 Broadway shows under his belt. He was recently in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Come From Away."
His impressive Broadway repertoire spans iconic productions such as "The Producers" (which clinched 12 Tony Awards), "Assassins" (recipient of 5 Tony Awards), and "How To Succeed In Business…" where he shared the stage with Daniel Radcliffe. Lelli also showcased his drumming prowess as both a musician and actor in the sensational Tony Award-winning rockabilly sensation, "Million Dollar Quartet."
Widely regarded as a "musical chameleon," Larry's eclectic career encompasses collaborations with music luminaries like Grammy-winner Melissa Etheridge, Josh Groban, Anne Hathaway, Nick Jonas, Vanessa Williams, Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA fame, Heather Headley, Laura Osnes, The Mamas & The Papas, Anika Noni Rose, Lee Rocker of Stray Cats, Audra McDonald, Neil Patrick Harris, Megan Hilty, Alan Cumming, Patti LuPone, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bernadette Peters, Sebastian Bach, Constantine Maroulis, Doug Stone, Lesley Gore, Larry Gatlin, Darlene Love, Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel, Pinkard & Bowden, virtuoso jazz pianist Geoff Keezer, indie rockers SuffraJett, and even the esteemed New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

Beyond his performance accomplishments, Lelli is a respected contributor to Modern Drummer Magazine. He holds a degree in Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and proudly belongs to the American Federation of Musicians & Actors Equity Association.
Larry extends his passion for music through his role as a clinician for Yamaha Drums and Sabian Cymbals. He remains actively engaged in education, sharing his expertise through private lessons, clinics, and masterclasses that span the globe.
