Airborne for a reason.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the GenNext session at NAMM and to all of you who subscribed today. I really appreciate the support. And thank you as well to everyone who picked up a copy of Broadway Bound and Beyond. It’s great to see people grabbing it and digging in.
For those who ordered signed copies, thank you for your patience. All the books have arrived, and once I’m back from NAMM next week, I’ll send the signed copies out right away.
For anyone who missed it, I gave my first talk on building a real career in theater music as part of GenNext. For those who don’t know, GenNext is focused on giving students and early-career musicians direct access to education, guidance, and people who’ve actually done the work. This was a new lane for me, and I’m glad I stepped into it.
What really made it worthwhile was meeting so many students afterward. Great conversations, smart questions, and real curiosity about how this career actually works. That part meant a lot, and it’s something I’m looking forward to doing more of.
