Born and raised in Binghamton, NY, he moved to New York City, where an audition for Frankie Valli in 1978 led to a national tour to support his massive hit single “Grease.” Numerous recordings and jingles followed.
In 1980, he began subbing on Broadway, which led to the first national tour of “Cats” in 1984. He was subsequently hired for the Broadway production in 1989 and stayed for the remaining eleven years.
